Job Title: Transportation Driver

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and dependable Transportation Drivers to operate company vehicles for the safe and efficient transport of personnel, goods, and equipment. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vehicle Operation:
– Safely operate company vehicles to transport personnel, goods, and equipment according to assigned schedules and routes.
– Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
2. Vehicle Maintenance:
– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
– Report any maintenance issues or accidents to the Transportation Supervisor promptly.
– Keep vehicles clean and in proper working order.
3. Route Management:
– Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate traffic or other conditions.
– Utilize navigation tools and technology to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
4. Customer Service:
– Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and responsive to client needs and inquiries.
– Assist with loading and unloading goods or equipment as required.
5. Safety and Compliance:
– Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of safety equipment.
– Comply with all company and regulatory requirements related to transportation.
6. Documentation:
– Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs.
– Complete any required paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
7. Emergency Procedures:
– Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, including vehicle breakdowns or accidents.
– Report any incidents to the Transportation Supervisor and follow company procedures.
Requirements:
1. Educational Background:
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in transportation or logistics is a plus.
2. Experience:
– Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a facility management or similar environment.
– Experience with various types of vehicles (e.g., vans, trucks) is preferred.
3. Licensing and Certification:
– Valid UAE driver’s license (Category 6).
– Clean driving record with no significant traffic violations or accidents.
4. Skills and Competencies:
– Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance.
– Excellent knowledge of Dubai’s road network and traffic regulations.
– Good communication skills and the ability to provide quality customer service.
– Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and handle minor repairs if necessary.
5. Personal Attributes:
– Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
6. Physical and Mental Stamina:
– Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying items.
– Capable of managing long hours of driving and dealing with stressful situations calmly.
