Housekeeping Attendant

  • To produce high standard of clean rooms and also to ensure that the amenities in the rooms are sufficiently supplied for the convenience and comfort of the guests
  • To ensure the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the guestrooms/ public area.
  • To collect keys for the assigned areas and sign in the key log book.
  • To ensure that the trolleys are neatly stacked with linen and there are sufficient stock of supplies before starting to make – up rooms.
  • To be able to prioritize daily job tasks, e.g. which room to clean first.
  • To ensure that guest rooms and check-out rooms are cleaned as per Housekeeping standard and room supplies completely replenished.
  • To clean and maintain the maids pantry, service area after every shift daily.
  • To remove all dirty room service trays & trolleys, cutleries, and crockeries from corridor and guest rooms to the service area.
  • To make sure the rubbish bags are cleared and disposed of at the garbage area after every shift.
  • To know the various housekeeping amenities used in guest rooms.
  • To report any maintenance defects to the Housekeeping Office.
  • To follow rules and regulations of the Hotel & Management.
  • To keep personal grooming at the highest standard.
  • To be fully familiar with Housekeeping Policies and Procedure, Job Description and the Employee’s handbook.
  • To perform all duties other than these above which are requested by the hotel management/direct supervisor.
